The accomodation

Casa Malpensata is a beautifully located 2.5-room apartment (approx. 60 m2), in a quiet area with a fantastic view of Lake Maggiore and the mountains from the terrace.

There are beautiful walks in the surrounding area. You can also enjoy and take advantage of the proximity to Italy. In less than 10 minutes you are on the Italian side where you will find charming villages, restaurants with excellent food at Euro prices, as well as less expensive shopping opportunities.

Casa Malpensata was recently renovated In 2023 and is on the top floor of a residence. In the residence there is a swimming pool (12x5m) with lawn, outdoor toilet, shower and a view of the lake. The swimming pool is accessible by stairs from the apartment.

Please note: The swimming pool is NOT heated and is NOT in operation all year. It is usually in operation from about mid-May to mid-October, but PLEASE CHECK WITH US FIRST BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR BOOKING.

Room layout: Living room and dining room with open kitchen and exit to the terrace, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom/WC, corridor.

Ideal occupancy: 2 adults, or 2 adults and 1 child (who could sleep on the single sofa in the living room).

PLEASE NOTE: THE SINGLE SOFA IN THE LIVING ROOM IS APPROXIMATELY 1 METER, 67 CENTIMETERS LONG, SO IT IS NOT IDEAL FOR TALL CHILDREN.

One small to medium sized dog is allowed in Casa Malpensata.

Smoking is not allowed in Casa Malpensata. Smoking is allowed on the terrace.

PLEASE NOTE: FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH REASONS THE FIREPLACE IS NOT TO BE USED BY GUESTS. Thank you for your understanding.

Casa Malpensata has one, covered, outdoor parking space available.

Casa Malpensata has a washer and dryer combination in the bathroom for your own use.

Casa Malpensata has underfloor heating and is fully equipped with, amongst others: Wifi, Flat screen TV, Cablecom Digital TV, Satellite Receiver or Bluewin TV (incl. all German speaking channels), DVD player, Nespresso coffee machine (compatible capsules can be found in any major grocery store), kettle, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, hairdryer, etc.

Please note: Soap, bath towels and kitchen towels are not provided, so please remember to bring your own. Thank you!

Bed layout: One double bed available in the bedroom. In the living room there is one single sofa that could be used by a child. Please note that the single sofa is approximately 1 meter, 67 centimeters long, so it is not ideal for a tall child.

Die Wohnung wurde sehr schön renoviert. Wir kennen die Wohnung von früher. Der Tisch auf der Terrasse ist ein Bisschen klein. Die Lage und Aussicht ist super. Uns gefällt die Wohnung sehr. Wir kommen wieder!
